Five Nights at Epstein’s is a surveillance-style survival horror game where you must stay alive through several tense nights using only security systems and quick thinking. Start playing and see if you can survive until morning.
The game places you in a locked room on a highly monitored island facility after a failed investigation. Escape is impossible during the night, so the only option is to control the building’s security systems and keep threats away from your position.
Most of the gameplay happens through camera feeds and control panels. Enemies move through hallways, vents, and rooms, forcing you to watch carefully and react quickly to prevent them from reaching you.
The surveillance system includes eleven cameras positioned throughout the building. These cameras allow you to track enemy movements and plan how to push them away from critical areas. Some locations become important control points during the night. The deeper hallway cameras help keep enemies far from your room, while the cameras near the front show possible vent entrances where attacks can begin. Camera systems may fail after heavy use. When a camera error appears, you must restart the system at the control panel before continuing to monitor the building.

Audio lures are one of the most useful defensive tools in the game. By activating sound from specific cameras, you can attract enemies and guide them away from dangerous areas.
The system requires careful alternation between nearby cameras. Repeating the lure in the same room does not work, so switching between cameras is necessary to keep enemies moving backward. Using the lure too frequently may cause the cameras to break, forcing you to restart the system before using it again.
Some threats approach through the ventilation system instead of the hallways. Loud banging signals that something is moving inside the vents.
Closing the vents blocks the attack but reduces oxygen in the room. Reopening the vents at the right moment is critical for survival. Waiting for the next banging sound usually means the threat has left the vent path.
Night 1 - Learning the System
The first night focuses on basic camera monitoring and audio lure usage. Players learn how to track enemies and keep them away from the front rooms.
Night 2 - Vent Attacks Begin
A new threat begins attacking through the ventilation system, forcing players to manage vents while still controlling enemy movement through cameras.
Night 3 - Electrocution Mechanic
A special enemy appears that must be disabled regularly using the electrocution system. This adds another task that must be managed alongside cameras and vents.
Night 4-5 - Maximum Pressure
All threats are active at once. Players must multitask constantly while keeping enemies as far back in the building as possible.
Night 6 and Beyond
Additional challenge nights unlock with different enemy patterns and higher difficulty levels.
Every night becomes more intense as systems fail and enemies grow more aggressive. Careful monitoring and smart use of security tools are the only ways to survive. Enter Five Nights at Epstein’s, control the cameras, and hold out until the final hour.
